Boston’s Asda store is giving shoppers the opportunity to show generosity to others through its gift appeal partnership with Centrepoint Outreach, a local charity supporting homeless, lonely and vulnerable people in our community. Until December 24th the Lister Way store will have a special trolley set up behind the checkouts to accept donations of cold weather clothing (such as hats, gloves, scarves and coats), toiletries and underpants for men, and flasks which will then be passed to the charity’s team of workers to distribute to street sleepers and those in need. The store also acts as a permanent collection point for Boston's Trussell Trust Food Bank to allow members of the public to donate items to those who use the service.
